Ok, let me explain.
Deodorants are not naturally occurring - they are man-made chemicals that EFFECT him, depending on how not-natural they are.
Things like smog effects him.
Compost heaps do not.
Metals do not - because no man has ever MADE a metal. They have melted it, shaped it, used it, fused it with other metals, cooked it with charcoal, and more. No naturally occurring element ever has this effect on him. Does that make it more clear?
