The world is filled with the supernatural. Demons, vampires, were-creatures, witches and more stalk the streets under our eyes. They each have the ability to hide themselves from us by wearing the Guise, a spell that makes them look human. But no matter what they are or what they truly look like, they are part of a supernatural underworld, called the Demon Underground.

It’s raining now, causing all the snow that built up to melt and flood the rivers. Many people are staying in their homes to avoid the wet stuff while others are out filling up sand bags or being evacuated from homes that are close to the overflowing streams, creeks and rivers.

She believes that because her family has money that she can do, say or get away with anything she wants and she believes she has a right to do it. The Demon Underground may know her in passing or have heard of her but she is unaware of their world.

Short history:
Cosette was born to a wealthy family, one of the wealthiest in Oregon. Her father (nameless until someone wants to play him) tended to care about his business more than his family. It just seemed to fit for him, where as a family was more difficult to manage. But when Cosette's mother died, Daddy Pierce had the hard task of raising a seven year old on his own. So, with a team of Nannies and Tutors, Cosette was raised with an absentee father... A father who would give her anything she wished as long as Cosette didn't embarrass him in front of clients and didn't raise a fuss. As such, Cosette learned that her daddy would take care of anything and everything she wished with but only a pout and a few crocodile tears. And to this day, the same tactics work... Now Cosette only has to stay out of the limelight and away from any odd pictures that could turn up in the gossip column of the Oregonian (newspaper).
