The world is filled with the supernatural. Demons, vampires, were-creatures, witches and more stalk the streets under our eyes. They each have the ability to hide themselves from us by wearing the Guise, a spell that makes them look human. But no matter what they are or what they truly look like, they are part of a supernatural underworld, called the Demon Underground.

It’s raining now, causing all the snow that built up to melt and flood the rivers. Many people are staying in their homes to avoid the wet stuff while others are out filling up sand bags or being evacuated from homes that are close to the overflowing streams, creeks and rivers.

Other Features: medium sized ( 4 inches long but curve back slightly) black horns, black arrow pointed whip-like tail that reaches from her tail bone to the mid calves, black nails like talons.
GUISE FORM Eyes: Muddy, red clay color. Most people think she's wearing contacts. Hair color: Mousey brown Hair length: down to her lower back
Skincolor: creamy colored Body mass: Same. Lean but muscular, curvy in all the right places. Length: still 5'6 Weight: still 130 lbs
Other Features: Two black tribal tattoos that cup her breasts and her sides. (Visible in either form)
Reputation: Hard ass, crowd control for Avandrya. Works with the Protectors. Doesn't portray a conscience.
Strength: Agile, physically strong, sex appeal, fearless, calm to a certain point.
Weaknesses: Fearless, does not function well in low temps, when angered it is hard for her to control herself and her actions.

Main supernatural ability: Emotion Manipulation. She has the ability to heighten or lessen a person's emotions and can choose which emotions to play on. This works well for crowd control.
Other Supernatural ability: Slight ability to manipulate others thoughts which usually works best on humans and will rarely work on the members of the Demon Underground. Can tolerate and even work very well in high temperatures.
Drawbacks to supernatural abilities: When not concentrating, other people's strong emotions can effect her. She will lose the ability to use her powers when she is surrounded by large amounts of ice or snow (outside in snowy winter weather). Her 'crowd controlling' ability only works in a 50 ft radius and cannot go through inanimate objects (she is bound by the size of the room).
Job: Security at Avandrya/The Throuveil, Protector Family ties: Mother's whereabouts are unknown, Father is deceased. No other family.

Short history:
Kalypsa was born in the 1800's to Victor Lior in Romania. Her mother disappeared shortly after her birth. She lived with Victor, who was a bitter, easily angered, abusive, alcoholic, until she was ten years of age. At ten she came into her powers. After a particularly brutal beating she filled her father's head with thoughts of self loathing, hatred, and paranoia and he hung himself. She ran, living on the streets until she was picked up by Donovan, an elemental demon, who saw use in her gifts. He used her for cover in his various escapades, usually involving theft and murders, to calm and confuse any who would pursue him. In the 1900's her and Donovan stumbled across one of the first Avandryas. Kalypsa quickly fell in love with the place and refused to leave. After spending day in and day out there, the owner saw her and her talents and offered her a security job in the club. She moved through many Avandryas until she landed in Portland. Having a reputation for being cold, calculating and the best at her job, she easily sealed a permanent position in for crowd control.
Kalypsa has an appetite for sex and fighting. There is never a night were one or the other isn't happening. Being very physically fit she can usually over power most opponents easily even without the additional help of her powers. For the most part she feels no compassion nor attachment to anyone, though she will mark certain people as her "territory" and if it is that is ignored there is hell to pay.
She has a sarcastic sense of humor and usually comes off as cold and serious to most.
