The world is filled with the supernatural. Demons, vampires, were-creatures, witches and more stalk the streets under our eyes. They each have the ability to hide themselves from us by wearing the Guise, a spell that makes them look human. But no matter what they are or what they truly look like, they are part of a supernatural underworld, called the Demon Underground.

It’s raining now, causing all the snow that built up to melt and flood the rivers. Many people are staying in their homes to avoid the wet stuff while others are out filling up sand bags or being evacuated from homes that are close to the overflowing streams, creeks and rivers.

Other Features: White feathered wings and a large scar running down his right eye, does not effect vision

Reputation: Well know with in the demon underground, especially in Portland, as an enforcer of the laws. Usually recognized on sight for his angelic like wings
Strength: Enhanced strength and reflexes, Heighten senses, Will power (is resistant to psychics, psionics and mind control) , Feathered wings allow for winged flight, decades of combat training in jamd to hamd and weapon training (Likes his fists, knives and his 7ft Zweihänder), master tactician.
Weaknesses: Technology... Can't use a computer, just learning cell phones, and guns. Can at times be cold and calculating, carries a lot of emotional baggage. Was a devote follower of the church. Is still known to them as the Guradain, and will attend confessions.
Enjoys: The cold, scotch, women, exercise, justice.
Fears: Chaos, and loss of control.

Drawbacks to supernatural abilities: Flight can only be done while in demon form. Is resistant to, not immune to psychics, psionics. knows when being probed, can block, and hide thoughts and feelings. And only with great difficulty can be controlled.

Short history: A baby was delivered to a small monastery in what is now known as South Germany, and was then the Holy Roman Empire. The matron mother was a seer, and fore saw this coming of events, so she schooled the boy and brought him up, and at his coming of age, cast the guise spell upon him to keep him hidden from the humans. But soon after the crusades swept thru on their march south to the holy lands. In their passing, all men and boys where conscripted into the army, and thus started his military career, as a nameless soldier fighting holy war after holy war.
Now a Knight Hospitaller, the crusades soon then came to an end with the coming of the French revolution and the Napoleonic wars, Cedric scarred from the endless slaughters and atrocities of decades of war fled to England and came to hide in a small secluded Presbyterian monastery in northern Scotland.
After some time had past, it was clear to the priests and nuns that this broken and shell-shocked knight was clearly different. In his healing time there and only knowing only how to fight, he helped with wood collecting, cleaning and other choirs, as well as protecting the simple monastery from brigands, bandits and thieves. Never revealing his name, the order came to know him simple as the Guardian.
With the end to the Napoleonic wars and peace with France finally achieved left the monastery and caught a boat to Canada to explore the new word. Forging northwest thru the territories and into Alaska, Cedric discovered the vast ranges of the Rockies and lived out the gold rush era living on one peak or another and eventually travelled south into the US, and thus discovering the demon underground, the throuveil, and Avandrya.
